What Can I Expect

Book to go air rifle shooting near Bristol for some fun and competitive target shooting practice! This small and friendly outdoor activity centre will extend a warm welcome when you turn up at this countryside setting for your shoot.

Ideally placed between Bath and Bristol just by Keynsham, this centre occupies a lovely spot on the edge of the River Avon within the Avon Valley Farm estate. The shooting range is purpose-built and covered, so rain won't stop play.

In groups of no more than 16, you'll learn how to handle and shoot air rifles. Safety is, of course, paramount and your instructor hosts will explain all about that during your pre-shoot briefing.

You'll be kitted out for a gun suitable for your build. This Bristol centre welcomes teenagers, as long as the 12 to 16 year olds are supervised on site. That makes these target shooting sessions ideal for families, as well as small groups for hen and stag outings.

If you've never shot an air rifle before, you're sure to feel a little nervous the first time you take aim at the target and release the trigger. Once you've done it, you've conquered your initial fears and you'll be wanting to keep shooting to keep improving your target skills.

All instructors are NRSA (National Small-bore Rifle Association) accredited and they will always take the time to give you advice on how to improve your aim. They will also organise a friendly little ‘shoot out' competition to see who will be crowned the hot-shot of Bristol!
