What Can I Expect
Bookings now being taken for the next departures of the 737 flight simulator in Darlington! This is one of the most authentic Boeing 737-800 set ups we've ever seen, so if you want realistic ‘big bird' flying, this is it!
Hidden amongst the streets and houses of Darlington, between the hospital and North Lodge Park, you'll find a whole different world waiting for you to discover. From the moment you arrive at the check-in desk, you are totally immersed in the world of commercial aviation.
Check the departure board for your flight and sign yourself in as crew. As the airport terminal tannoy announcements regularly chime out, and with your friends and family all checked in with their boarding passes, it's time to enter the ‘aircraft room'.
The 18-seat aircraft cabin is totally realistic - and that's because the seats are real Boeing 737 seats, with genuine porthole windows and even overhead lockers. At the front are two screens, with a direct feed of the flight deck, so spectators can watch all the action, whilst the drinks trolley goes round (yes, really!).
You, as Captain, will be in charge of this Boeing 737 for the duration of your simulated flight experience. The 4K screens will put you and your Boeing in the heart of any airport of your choosing. The possibilities are endless. You can even set the weather for your flight.
As you're sitting on stand waiting for clearance from air traffic control, you'll have to remind yourself that you are not actually going to be leaving the ground. Yep, it's that realistic. We are offering 60 and 90-minute experiences at this brilliant 737 flight simulator in Darlington. All experiences include a pre-flight briefing and post-flight debrief in addition to the flight times.
