Monster Truck Driving Experience

Big! The American monster trucks are based on pick ups such as the Chevrolet Silverado, but modified and raised high up off the floor. The tyres fitted to an American monster truck alone are 5ft 5" tall. So-called 'European-spec' monster trucks are usually based on vehicles such as the Toyota HiLux and are generally smaller in size, but just as mad-looking!

By ladder! Yep, these trucks are so big that you need to climb up into the cab or onto the rear passenger platform. And believe us, once you've scrambled up there it feels really high off the ground - and that, quite frankly, is because your are!

For those keen to drive, we've got experiences in both American monster trucks and the slightly smaller 'European-spec' monster trucks. We also offer passenger rides, where you sit either in the cab up front, or perch on one of the seats specially installed on the rear platform of the truck for passengers.

The operators hosting these monster truck driving sessions are all highly experienced in providing driving days and passenger rides. They take all precautions necessary, but as with any motoring activity, it is not totally without risk. There will be a full safety briefing just before your experience which is vital to attend.

In America monster truck driving is an enormously popular motorsport. Big arena events showcase the crazy stunts and tricks these larger than life trucks and pick ups can do. The monster truck scene in the UK is a lot smaller, but spectators are always thrilled when they do perform, so imagine how exciting it is to actually drive one.

Flat soled shoes are best for driving monster trucks. You should wear comfortable, loose fitting clothing and dress for for the weather. Even if it's not dry and sunny, your experience will more than likely still go ahead, with waterproof clothing being provided for you.

If you're pregnant or think you might be pregnant, you are advised against a monster truck driving experience as you will get jolted around on the truck.
