What Can I Expect
Discover the world of winemaking on one of our vineyard tours offered nationwide! These are our most flexible vouchers, as they allow the recipient to choose not only when they want to go, but also which English vineyard they would like to visit from our selection around the country. And don't forget, they make a great gift for wine loving couples as the voucher is for two people!
Our nationwide vineyard tours allow you access to all sorts of wineries, from small family-run concerns to larger businesses that tend to acres and acres of vines producing thousands of bottles a year. Itineraries at each of the vineyards may vary slightly, but all will show you just how their wine is made and give you time to taste the fruits of their labours too.
Whether you're already a fan of British wines or not, these vineyard tours show you the best of our nationwide winery businesses and gives you an insight into just how darn good these wines are, so if you haven't already been converted you will be by the end of the tour! From pruning the vines and picking the grapes to processing, fermentation, blending and finally bottling, then adding the label, each tour will lift the lid of the world of wine, on home soil.
All of our nationwide venues are set in lush countryside and as well as the tours around the vineyard and wineries, they all have shops on site where you can taste the various grape varieties on offer and purchase a few bottles to take home with you. Most also have cafes or restaurants, making for a very pleasant way to spend a few hours in the great English countryside getting to know locally produced red, white and rose wines.
The vouchers for these vineyard tours nationwide are valid for a full 12 months, so there is plenty of time to get booked in. And don't forget, with these nationwide vineyard tours, they choose which vineyard to visit, that way they can select a winery close to where they live, or perhaps 'make a weekend of it', stay overnight and visit a vineyard in a different area for an extra special treat.
