What Can I Expect
Coasteering in Sunderland - adventures in the North East! These exhilarating experiences are ideal for those who have never coasteered before. You’ll be exploring the coastline’s coves, jumps and tunnels with an expert guide.
To go coasteering you need to have all the right gear. That’s to say, the wetsuit, wetsocks, buoyancy aid and helmet. Then you need to have the right instructor (and the coasteering crew in Sunderland is brilliant, so you’re in good hands). And finally, you need the right place to go.
And the rugged, slightly wild coastline of the North East beyond Roker Beach is perfect for coasteering.
We are offering two types of voucher for these three hour coasteering sessions. The Family experience is perfect for all ages from eight years, whilst the Adult outing is faster-paced with more daring things to tackle along the way. You'll need to be able to swim too.
This Sunderland team operates a ‘challenge by choice’ policy, which means the routes have been carefully worked out so that all the natural obstacles you face are optional. You don’t have to do anything out of your comfort zone - but of course, you’ll be encouraged to go for it!
And believe us, you’ll feel pretty euphoric when you look back and see just how high you jumped, that rocky platform you walked and more!
These coasteering Sunderland experiences include return transport from the beachfront centre at Roker, to the starting point and back at the end, all the gear and your expert guides too!
