Manchester Barton Aerodrome
Manchester Barton Aerodrome (ICAO code EGCB) is a renowned airfield in Eccles, Greater Manchester. Barton was the UKs first purpose-built municipal airport when it opened with its first passenger charter flight in 1930. Also known as City Airport and City Airport Manchester, the aerodrome today hosts private charters (particularly on match days), as well general aviation operations on its four grass runways.
