What Can I Expect
Gorge walking in South Wales! This taster session is the perfect introduction to the exhilarating world of outdoor water adventure.
You'll head to the iconic Dinas Rock car park to meet your expert instructor. From here, your journey into the heart of the spectacular Welsh landscape begins.
The river gorges of South Wales are legendary for their beauty and natural rock formations. You will spend two and a half hours navigating these stunning water-filled landscapes. Scramble over rocks, wade through fresh river pools, and explore hidden waterfalls. It is a physical challenge that engages your whole body while requiring complete mental focus.
There is something incredibly rewarding about cold-water immersion and conquering natural obstacles. You will likely feel a massive boost in confidence and mental resilience by the end of the session.
Everything you need is provided, including a thick wetsuit, white water helmet, and buoyancy aid. Your guide ensures a safe and supportive environment so you can focus entirely on the fun.
This experience is ideal for first-timers, individuals, or groups looking for a fresh perspective on the outdoors. Just remember to bring sturdy footwear and a warm change of clothes for afterwards. Location
- Dinas Rock, South Wales
- Participants will meet at the Dinas Rock car park to begin their adventure.
Suitable For
- Minimum age 8 years
- Under 18's must be accompanied on site
- These taster sessions are an ideal introduction for beginners and first-time adventurers
Spectators
- Due to the nature of the terrain and the remote locations of the gorges, this experience is not suitable for spectators.
Anything Else
- It is advised to bring warm clothing suitable for outdoor activity
- Comfortable footwear with good grip that you don't mind getting wet is essential
- You should also bring a packed lunch and plenty of water to stay hydrated
