What Can I Expect

Sightseeing helicopter rides from Goodwood! These leisure flights set off from the capital of speed itself, the Goodwood Circuit in Sussex, taking you on an aerial expedition around the stunning countryside and coastline.

We have a number of different helicopter experiences out of Goodwood for you; the 10-minute Goodwood Gallop, the 20-minute Beaches & Bays Tour and the 30-minute Towers & Tall Ships itinerary.

Let's get in the starting blocks with the Goodwood Gallop. This local Sussex helicopter tour gives you a wonderful bird's eye view of all those Goodwood landmarks, including the racecourse, the country house, the estate, the kennels and the motor racing circuit.

The Beaches & Bays helicopter ride will take you all over the picturesque Sussex coastline. Glance down to see boats gently jostling together in their moorings, then raise your eyes and look out across the Solent to see Portsmouth and the Isle of Wight beyond. As you skirt the shoreline, peer down into inlets, coves and harbours too.

Flying further afield, the Towers & Tall Ships will see you delving into maritime history and hovering right over some of the finest stately homes too. Cruising at around 1500ft, you'll be privy to a unique viewpoint from which to admire these incredible landmarks, from the iconic Spinnaker Tower, to Portsdown Hill forts and Uppark House.

All rides are in executive helicopters and all take off from Goodwood Aerodrome. We think these helicopter flights offer the perfect combination of sea, sand, surf and stately homes to create a very memorable airborne experience for all passengers.

Suitable For

• Maximum weight limit restriction of 17 stone applies. Additional seating to be purchased for weights above 17 stone
• Minimum age 2, You must be tall enough to be able to occupy your own seat
• Under 10s must be accompanied by a participating adult

Spectators

• Friends and family are welcome to come and watch you take off and land from the clubhouse lounge which offers views across the airfield
