What Can I Expect

It’s a bustling place to fly from. There are a lot of aviation-focussed companies based in the area and the airport is within the catchment area of many UK motorsport teams. It’s close to London too, so there are often a lot of business jet movements. This pilot training school has an enviable position right near the large, curved apron.
Facilities at Oxford’s Kidlington Airport are really good. The control tower and terminal building dominates the airport and the Aviation Station Cafe next door keeps hungry pilots fed and watered on weekdays - and for weekends, there’s a handy Greggs at the airport entrance!
You will be flying in a four-seater plane for your lesson, sitting up front alongside the pilot. Friends and family will be able to watch you take off from the clubhouse, which offers superb views out across the apron to the runway.

- To ensure you get the best experience possible, we advise trial lessons to be one on one. Therefore an interested observer is unable to sit in the rear of the aircraft

- Please Note: Due to the current fuel costs the flying school have advised they have introduced a temporary fuel surcharge of £10.00 on all trial lessons and experience flights, payable on the day
