What Can I Expect

Fly aerobatics over Northamptonshire! This is your chance to reserve a 30- or 45-minute flight slot at Sywell Aerodrome to experience some amazing aerial stunts in a dual-control aerobatic aircraft. It's not for the fainthearted, but it is incredible!

You will be flying in a Robin 2160 Alpha Sport. This is a low-wing, fully aerobatic light aircraft that is a great little trainer plane. Really popular with pilots, they say it handles very well in the air. The Robin isn’t super fast, so you can really enjoy performing your aerobatic moves.

But make no mistake, just because this Robin is used for aerobatic training at this Northamptonshire flight school, doesn't mean to say it's like a learner plane. Even the most experienced pilots have fun pushing the Alpha Sport to its limits, which, incidentally are from zero gravity up to 6g. Impressive.

All flight experiences are geared to you. The pre-flight briefing will allow you and your pilot instructor to discuss what you want to achieve.
