Karting for kids takes place at this great outdoor circuit near Hoddesdon in Hertfordshire, letting youngsters cut their teeth on as it is one of the country's leading purpose-built karting facilities. A few laps around this circuit and they will be dreaming about becoming racing heros.

The circuit is 1km long, and has played host to many rounds of the British Karting Championships.  What we really like about this venue is that the kids get to drive the full circuit, there is no formal racing and best of all, this all happens when the circuit is closed to adults.

In total, after kitting out and safety briefings, each child should get to drive for around 30mins.

If you are looking to book this for a children's party, up to 30 karters can be accommodated at once and party food can be arranged directly with the venue for around £5 per child.

The total experience provides 30 minutes drive time, allow spending between 45mins and 1.5hrs on site depending on the group size. Usually, groups between 10 and 20 will be split into two and if there are between 20 and 30 children they will be split into three for the driving sessions. The go karting for kids runs when the track is closed to adult racers, which is usually 16:00 to 20:00 most days of the week all year round. Other times may be available on request.


The venue is 10 miles of J25 of the M25 at Hoddesdon in Hertfordshire.


There are two age groups, eight to 11 year olds and 12 to 15 year olds. There is a minimum height of 4ft4".


Spectators are welcome and children must be supervised by adults. There are good club facilities on site for you to host a party.
