What's Included

  • Snatch Land Rover immersive challenge for up to 5 people
  • As one person drives, the others are passengers in the back
  • Your mission is to seek out the enemy
  • Complete challenges on the way including diffusing bombs, rescuing hostages and building a missile
  • Team of up to 4 people in the back will be working out what, where and how to beat the enemy!
  • The driver will be separate from the back but linked by an intercom so it'll be up to the team in the back to navigate around the war zone
  • Possibility to share drive time (licence needed)
  • Possibility to have an instructor drive for you (ideal for 12yrs+ birthday parties etc)
  • You will have 1 hour to complete the challenge!

What Can I Expect

Take on the Snatch Land Rover team challenge! Are you ready to crew a genuine ex-Army ‘Snatch' armoured Land Rover on a thrilling one-hour immersive mission at Bicester Heritage?

You will be operating as a team of up to five. The idea is that, as you drive around the off road tracks and trails, you will need to work as a team to seek out and destroy the enemy, taking on challenges along the way. You could be called upon to diffuse a bomb, rescue hostages or even build a missile.

As the Snatch Land Rover team challenge hosts at Bicester Heritage told us : “It's the Crystal Maze meets a live-action, outdoor escape room with the Army getting involved!”.

So yep, you'll all need your wits about you for this fully-immersive experience. And did we tell you it all goes off against the clock? You and your comrades will have precisely one hour to succeed in your mission.

You can designate a driver for the duration of your challenge, or you can swap roles. As long as you have a valid full licence, you can have a go at being commander at the wheel of this very special Landy.

Known as the ‘Snatch' Land Rover, these vehicles were extensively used during Northern Ireland's ‘Troubles' to put troops at the heart of demonstrations and protests. The idea being that as a fully-armoured vehicle, they could patrol in crowds, picking out and snatching up ring leaders - hence the nickname.

Suitable For

  • Minimum age 18 for driving (full driving licence required)
  • Minimum age 12 to be a part of the team in the back (instructor will drive for those without a licence)
