What Can I Expect

Hop in a plane, jump out of it and skydive over Salisbury Plains! This Old Sarum-based tandem skydiving specialist offers jumps from 7,000, 10,000 and a whopping 15,000ft, which (at nearly three miles up) is the highest possible tandem jump in the UK! 

Fully prepared and harnessed up, you load the plane along with your expert skydiving instructor. This Salisbury crew is well-known for being friendly, smiley and great at putting your mind at ease!

As soon as you take off, the adrenaline kicks in and you realise the only way back down is a mind-blowing free fall followed by a parachute ride.

Once you’ve reached the altitude for your skydive over Salisbury and the door opens, your heart is sure to be in your mouth. The wind hits your face and gravity takes over as the engine noise fades away…and the silence is only broken by your screams of delight!

Drink in this moment, as it is truly the Holy Grail of skydiving. Free falling over the magnificent Salisbury Plains in sight of the Cathedral. It's cheesy but it's true; there really is no other feeling like it.

As you reach a height of around 5,000ft, the instructor deploys the canopy and stage two of your skydive is the gentle descent back down to Old Sarum Airfield’s drop zone.

If you’re brave enough to do the 15,000ft jump, your freefall time will be a huge 60-seconds. From this sort of height there's not much you can't see. And it's amazing to jump out above the clouds, then pierce through that layer of white fluffiness to see the whole of the plains of Salisbury laid out before you.

As soon as you touch down, you will soon become aware of the cheers and applause of friends and family who have been proudly looking on. A well-deserved high five with your skydiver instructor and it's time to head back to the school's facility to thank all those lovely people who bought you that voucher for a skydive in Salisbury!

7,000ft Jumps

• Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays
• Upgrades to include weekends or Bank Holidays are available for an additional charge of £60, payable when booking your date

10,000ft & 15,000ft Jumps

• Thursdays to Sundays - March to October
• Fridays to Sundays - November and February

Suitable For

• Minimum age is 16
• Under 18s will need a parent or guardians written consent - forms supplied on booking
• Maximum weight is 15 stone with weight being in proportion to height
• Jumpers between 15 and 18 stone can be accommodated although a surcharge will apply 15-16 stone £10 per person, 16-17 stone £20 per person and 17-18 stone £30 per person, payable on the day

Spectators

• Guests are welcome to come and watch from the large spectators area
