What Can I Expect

Real shotguns and real ammunition means real shooting on this shotgun shooting experience on the Leicestershire / Warwickshire borders! This is the real deal, folks and it’s your turn for some tactical shooting.

This experience centres around the Mossberg 12-gauge, pump-action shotgun. It’s a mean piece of kit. It has a long, dual barrel, coupled with a nice and soft stock, with a light trigger feel. There is some recoil with it, but the ergonomic design of the shotgun is much appreciated by shooters of all levels.

These sessions are suitable for everyone from absolute beginners, to those who have maybe already done some clay or rifle shooting.

And we have to say, holding and handling a shotgun with live ammunition is a whole new ball game. It’s pump action too, so you pump to eject the cartridge and reload the next. In total, you will have 25 live rounds to fire on these experiences.

The centre’s experienced shooting coaches will be on hand to teach you everything you need to know about using the Mossberg 12g shotgun for these target practice sessions. And as you’d expect, safety is paramount.

You’ll find handling the Mossberg requires focus and precision if you’re going to be on target with your shots. Let’s see if you have what it takes to be hotshot during this shotgun shooting experience at Leicestershire’s Stoke Golding airfield!
