Half-day 4x4 Driving Experience for Two
- Safety briefing, induction to 4x4 driving
- The day starts with breakfast and induction to off road driving theory
- Receive training in a Land Rover Discovery on challenging terrain used for training professional 4x4 drivers including utility, rescue and emergency organisations
- The emphasis is on building driver knowledge and skills
- Please allow three and half hours for this experience
- A certificate will be issued on completion
What Can I Expect
Private off road driving in Wrexham! An exclusive experience for two of you to discover the joys of driving an off roader on some of the best terrain on the England / Wales border!
First up, we’d like to say a bit of Welsh rain will not stop play at this specialist off road training centre just south of Wrexham. In fact, a bit of extra water makes it all the more exciting, as you tackle some fun and challenging stuff as a duo.
We are offering introductory and half-day sessions for two. For both these intro and half-day experiences, it’s entirely up to you how to divide out the drive time. Mix and match as you like and when you’re not driving, you’ll be riding - which is an experience in itself!
Each lesson is private and exclusive just for you, so it will be literally geared to you. This Wrexham centre is fully-accredited to provide BORDA Off Road Training to professionals, so you are in extremely good hands, with instructors who are highly experienced at teaching everything you need to about going ‘off piste’ in a vehicle.
And there’s a lot of it to explore. It’s a purpose-built challenge track in two acres of Wrexham countryside, with fun things like muddy ditches, slippery trenches, bumps and sneaky side slopes. And if you get into the deep troughs, the water might well be lapping over the bonnet!
With a fleet of off road vehicles at their disposal, you will be at the wheel of a proper 4x4 workhorse like a Land Rover. And these Landys are totally in their natural habitat, well away from those smooth tarmac roads.
