What Can I Expect

Junior driving lessons at Dunsfold Park in Surrey! Give the kids a head start with these first drive experiences aimed specifically at 10 to 17 year olds.

This famous Surrey circuit is a great place for learning to drive. Kids who like motoring will know it's the Top Gear test track - and Dunsfold is also renowned as a filming location. There's a lot going on here and the kids always love it (as do the parents!).

Gary and his team run these friendly and welcoming driving school sessions for teens in the park areas of the circuit. Their day-to-day business is a professional driver training school and these experiences for youngsters are specifically aimed at giving little ones the chance to drive before they start for real on the public roads.

At Dunsfold there's loads of space. That means a realistic road layout can be created - with things like junctions, traffic lights and roundabouts. It's superb training for kids, as they get a feel of the sort of things they will come across on the public roads, but in a safe space.

All cars are manual, so kids taking part will need to be at least 1.42m tall to be able to reach the pedals. The school typically uses Peugeot 308 cars. You'll often see these on the road with L plates on, as they are a popular choice of driving school car.

We are offering 30 and 60-minute junior driving lessons at Dunsfold. If you know someone who is under 17 and is chomping at the bit to get driving early, these Surrey lessons are a great choice.
