What Can I Expect

Rum and gin masterclasses in Leeds! Join the liquor store team in the heart of the city centre to taste and create your very own bespoke rum or gin. It's one voucher, leaving you to choose whether you'll be making a spicy rum or a tasty gin.

These masterclasses are all about the spirits (the drinking kind, rather than the ‘ohhhooooh' kind). Dan and Jon love their job running a top Leeds bar so much, that they decided to invite fellow gin and rum enthusiasts to share their passion. You can now visit their laboratory and get creative with the botanicals and spices to concoct your very own blend.

After meeting your ‘ginstructor' or ‘rumstructor' (depending on which tipple you prefer), things get off to a cracking start with a G&T or a Rum & Ginger. After that, it's time to experiment with the flavours, spices, aromas and botanicals in the tasting room. And of course, there'll be lots of sampling too.

Having got a bit of a nose for this spirit-creating business, it's off to the blending the room to get down to the nitty-gritty; making your very own 50cl blend of gin or spiced rum. It'll be totally unique to you and what you like to taste.

The last step in the masterclass process is bottling up. With one final flourish, you'll give your blend a name and print a funky label for that pro finish to your creation.

And yes, it's a one-off, but your bespoke recipe will be saved in the hall of fame. So, as an alumni of the rum and gin masterclass, you'll be able to order repeat bottles of your special mix whenever you like!
