What Can I Expect

Are you up for an AR game at the V&A? Go sleuthing in the world's largest art and art history museum to see if you can solve the mystery of ‘Drake's Secret'! A brilliantly involved, engaging and immersive vr game experience for all ages.

The Victoria and Albert Museum in London houses a collection of over 2.7million pieces of art and artefacts. An amazing place with voluminous halls and impressive galleries, it's a great venue for an indoor Augmented Reality gaming challenge.

Your task is to work as a team against all the other teams, to work out conundrums, quandaries and questions, to come up with the codes, facts and answers. Each challenge you get correct gives you points and brings you a step closer to resolving why Drake left his mysterious chest hidden in the depths of the V&A.

Pivotal to your plan is the tablet you'll be using as part of the game you're playing. Scan the paintings and exhibits and they come alive. Thanks to AR, the visual and audio content of the game on your tablet mixes with your real time environment. And yes, it's as cool and futuristic as it sounds!

Who is Leopold's friend? What is it about those silver coins? Can you spot anything amongst the maps and floor plans? All these burning questions are waiting for answers from you!

Act fast. Act discreetly. Teams can see what each other is doing, so there's always someone watching. Whoever completes the challenges with the most points will be declared the winner. And you'll finally find out what Drake's secret is all about!
