Learn to Fly Helicopters Course
Dreams of being a helicopter pilot could soon become a reality with the help of our special Five Hour "Learn to fly a helicopter" package. This superb flying gift, available at many venues across the UK, could be the introduction to your new hobby as you aim towards your pilots licence, or even a launchpad to a new career in the aviation industry.
Each one hour 'learn to fly' training session is preceded by an in depth one hour flight briefing to ensure maximum progress is made on each flight. A log book is included, which means the hours you have flown in the helicopter on this learning package can count towards your helicopter pilot licence PPL (H), so you're well on the way to becoming a proper pilot!
The 'How to fly a helicopter' starter pack is currently available at venues in Kent, Surrey, Leicestershire and Hertfordshire where you will be welcomed into the flying community and learn all about life as a helicopter pilot. Indeed, the flightpath (or should that be the runway!) to becoming a helicopter pilot isn't an easy one, as you have to learn about flight regulations, weather predictions, gaining clearance from air traffic control as well as filing flight plans, but it's certainly an exciting learning curve!
This is a really special present for those 'once in a lifetime' occasions, where you can give someone you love the training they need to learn how to handle a helicopter! We also offer 'have a go' sampler
helicopter lessons if you think they might want to have a shorter trial flight first. For something a bit more adventurous there's always our
gyrocopter taster flight!
