What Can I Expect

Sheep trekking in Somerset. Can you really take a sheep on a walk? Yes you can! These adorable sheep love taking a stroll with humans almost as much as us humans love walking with them!

It all happens on a working farm near Taunton. Just off the Honiton Road, you'll find this wonderful farm that has been in the same family for three generations. Covering 100-acres of land around the Blackdown Hills, with superb views across the Vale of Taunton, it's the perfect setting for meeting and hanging out with this adorable gang of sheep.

And what a flock it is! With a mix of Zwartbles, Texel and cross-breeds, this lot have totally got it nailed when it comes to the cute factor. The likes of Larry, Steve, Buddy, Daisy and Cloud-tail can't wait to meet you.

Trained for treks (they love walking on a lead!), you will be buddied up with one of the sheep for your trek. The walking will be done at sheep's pace, which we are assured is slow and steady, so you'll have plenty of time to take in the views and take pictures.

What's super sweet is that each sheep has their own character. You might be paired up with a sheep who loves cuddles, a calm and gentle one, an energetic one or even a cheeky one. But one thing's for sure, you'll love them all and they'll love you back (especially if you give them their tasty sheep treats!).

Each sheep will get a human to walk with for the duration of the trek and group sizes are kept to a maximum of six, so there's no sheep rowdiness or shenanigans. Children as young as three can take part, making it a great experience for families to enjoy together - and our voucher for four is great value too.
