What Can I Expect

Rallying introduction Essex - the perfect taster experience to get into rally driving! Head down to Saffron Walden to learn how to rally drive from some of the most experienced drivers in the sport.

Ideal for dipping your toes into the world of rallying, these introductory experiences take place on the purpose-built, loose gravel stage. There'll be a meet and greet, followed by a driver briefing to introduce you to the rally team and get you ready to drive.

Tuition will be done in the car, with your expert rally instructor sitting beside you in the front passenger seat. They'll tailor their coaching to your needs. So if you've never been in a rally car before, they'll call out the braking points and help you keep the car on track.

And we have to mention the cars here at this Essex rally school. They're all fully prepped for rallying and they are all absolute classics. That's because Tom, who is at the head of this family-run business, also runs Tom Clark Motorsport and all of the workshop crew are 110% committed to rallying.

You could be taking your first full-lock turns on the track in a front wheel drive rally car like the Suzuki, or a rear wheel drive like the classic Sierra Cosworth.

Whichever car you drive, it's going to be a very intense 10-minutes of rallying. You'll be grappling with the steering wheel, as you try and make it around the coned out rally course without taking any of them out!

But rest assured, no matter how you get on, you'll finish your session with a huge grin on your face. Book your rallying introduction in Essex and get ready to rally!

Spectators

  • Spectators are welcome and there are viewing areas of the track

Anything Else

  • Snacks and refreshments can be purchased from the on site cafe
  • Additional pay on the day activities are available
  • Experiences can be recorded and you will be able to take your SD cards with footage home with you, for an additional charge payable on the day
