What Can I Expect
Immerse yourself in a NatureEye remote drone experience! This innovative experience sees you remote-flying a real drone in the faraway location of your choice so you can be a high-tech virtual tourist.
How does remote drone flying work? NatureEye has set up a network of local drone pilot guides around the world. Once you’ve selected the destination you’d like to explore, you book your flight date.
The next step in your remote drone flying journey is to complete a short training session on how to control and manoeuvre the drone using your own laptop in your own home. Now you’re all set up, you're ready to fly the drone!
And yes, it’ll be you actually controlling the real drone in real time! A locally-based drone pilot guide will be on the ground to offer in-situ assistance, as well as communicating with you for the duration of your remote flight.
That means you’ve got local expertise for the best spots to fly your drone over and instant help if you need it. You can even ask the pilot to fly the drone for you, if you’d prefer to sit back, relax and enjoy the live feed.
As well as the real-time live footage, you get to capture images of what you are seeing. It’s as simple as pressing a key on your keyboard - and you’ve got a photo to add to your drone photo library, which you will have access to after your live experience ends.
From the vast expanse of the Elephant Sands in Botswana and the incredible overhead views of the Mekong River in Cambodia, to the breathtaking Inca ruins at Machu Picchu in Peru, there’s so much to discover live and in real time with your online drone experience.
