What Can I Expect

Land's End helicopter tours are now boarding! Departing from the most south-westerly airport of mainland Britain, these wonderful sightseeing flights by helicopter will show you the very best of Cornwall's Penzance peninsula. And it really is stunning.

Land's End Airport is situated near St Just, a few miles west of Penzance. This lovely little airport is a real gem and is the crucial link between the mainland and the Isles of Scilly, which you can see from the tarmac. Your sightseeing flight departs from here and will take you all over this, the farthest-reaching Cornish corner of the country.

We are offering two flight itineraries for you to choose from. The 15-minute Land's End tour covers around 25 miles. From your viewing point in the chopper, you'll enjoy superb views looking down on the likes of pretty Sennen Cove seaside village on the north Cornwall coast, the attractions (where  the famous signpost is!) at Land's End, the impressive Minack open-air theatre built on the rocks by the sea and stunning Lanmorna Cove, where you often encounter seals.

The extended Land's End tours see you soaring over the Cornish coasts for around 25-30 minutes. You get to explore further, adding the likes of Mousehole, St Ives and the incredible St Michael's Mount to that impressive roster of sightseeing.

We have to say, seeing St Michael's Mount from the air is a real highlight. This rocky island off the Cornish coast is a sight to behold, with its village and medieval castle and church. If you want to see it, make sure you book the extended tour!

All Land's End helicopter tours are operated by executive Bell helicopters. With a smooth ride and unobstructed views out of the cockpit, these are the perfect helis for these trips boasting big sights, big seascapes and landscapes too. A must for anyone in Cornwall!
