What Can I Expect

What’s more, your balloon pilot will be able to fly between 500 and 5000ft (they can control altitude in a balloon, but not which direction you fly in or how fast - that’s down to the wind!). Nothing beats the sensation of flying low to the ground - everything looks like it’s in miniature!

And of course, this is your day. So if you fancy lending a hand to set up or pack down the balloon, you are more than welcome. Friends and family are more than welcome to join you at the launch site to wave you off and you will be transported back to the Devonshire base from your landing spot to rejoin them in time for some post-ballooning selfies!

• Generally you will meet just after sunrise or a few hours before sunset
• Timings change as the length of the day changes

Suitable For

• Minimum age 7
• Under 18s must be accompanied by a participating adult
• Maximum weight 18stone/115kg
• Participants must be agile enough to climb in and out of the basket and stand assisted for an hour
• Not suitable during pregnancy
• You must not fly if you are suffering from any significant medical condition or if you have recently undergone major surgery
• Any medical or physical condition that could be considered to affect your safety or the safety of others must be declared when booking your date

• Experiences include complete ground and flight insurance
• Suitable outdoor clothing and footwear should be worn
• Warm, comfortable layers are recommended, plus a cap for the warmth from the burners
