What Can I Expect

Hey deejay! These DJ lessons in Birmingham are for anyone who wants to learn how to mix. By the end of these workshops, you'll be getting sorted with your seamless mixing of the best tunes out there. We have a two hour experience if you want to go solo or share a 2.5 hour experience with a friend of family member.

DJ and producer Jake is the owner of this studio. He's grown up around music and was probably born with a pair of headphones on his ears. He loves all genres of music and the pleasure that playing out music gives. He's ready on the decks to show you how DJing is done.

The dedicated DJ room at the studios is kitted out with a set of Pioneer CDJ 3000s (industry-standard CD mixing decks that you find in many nightclubs and venues). There are also screens for your visuals. And finally, there's the other DJ clubscene essential - a smoke machine. Just brilliant.

With the skill and experience of Jake, you'll learn how to mix tracks seamlessly, concentrating on grids and matching beats and bpm. Before you know it, you'll forget you're in a studio in Birmingham and you'll be dropping tracks that'd get any crowd in Ibiza going.

This is your hands in the air moment. Lap up the glory as you drop dancefloor stompers one after the other. What's more, the whole thing is going to be recorded, so you can re-watch and re-listen to your DJ set after your class.
