What Can I Expect

Get ready for take off on the Brighton to Isle of Wight Landaway! This unique package is for two people to enjoy an extended flight experience, with both of you having your chance to pilot the plane on your return journey.

On this landaway you will be taking off from Brighton City Airport in a four-seater aeroplane. One of you will be in the rear passenger seats, whilst your fellow aviator will be up front, with your pilot instructor next to you.

After take off, you’ll head over the Sussex border and into Hampshire, before flying over the Solent to the Isle of Wight to land at Sandown Airport.

You’ll then have a break, with time to park up the plane and head for a detailed ground briefing (and a cup of tea, of course!). Once back in the aeroplane, you’ll take off from the island and navigate your way back to the airport at Shoreham. This time it’s your partner in flight’s turn to be in the pilot’s seat.
