What Can I Expect

Craft a gorgeous pair of hand-made baby shoes on this half-day workshop in Kent! Shoe designer Hetty Rose's studio is a wonderfully creative place. Join her there to make a pair of super soft moccasins that baby will love.

Hetty is professionally-trained in making deluxe, bespoke hand-made shoes. She has worked for some of the finest designers and now creates her stunning footwear under her own label. Making baby shoes came about as many of her clients and friends asked for hand-made baby shoes as a gift.

And the baby bootees you'll be making are fabulous. Using lovely soft leather and vintage kimono fabric, you'll create colourful and stylish shoes perfect for newborns and babies aged 6-12 months - even if baby is crawling.

Using Hetty's very own patterns, you'll cut the fabrics you have chosen to create the uppers and the leather for the sole and the liners. No sewing skills or experience is necessary, as Hetty will show you how each stage of the process is done in a clear and easy-to-understand way.

Once you've made your cuter-than-cute baby shoes, all that remains for you to do is pop them into a lovely gift box, finished off with a stylish stamped logo.
