Thames Barrier Cruises are available on selected weekends throughout the year with a 0930 start time and there are usually two RIBs in operation at any time.

All cruises depart from underneath the London Eye.

There are no age or weight restrictions, however, participants will need to be able to climb onboard and sit on an individual seat for the duration of the trip. All boats can experience unpredictable movements that can aggravate existing medical conditions. The experiences are unsuitable for expectant mothers at any stage of pregnancy. You are advised to wear sensible clothing, bearing in mind it is usually cooler out on the river. Flat soled footwear is recommended.

Spectators are welcome to watch the RIB depart/arrive. The cruises can accommodate people with disabilities. The boat has been approved by the SCOPE charity and there is an induction loop and specially designed stability rails on board. Smaller life jackets are available for children.
