Have a go at sphereing in Cheshire! This fun and adventure-filled activity takes place at a farm in Macclesfield, right on the edge of the beautiful Peak District and with easy access from the M6, making it perfect for spherers from the Staffordshire and Manchester areas.
You will be aqua or harness sphereing at this centre in the classic English countryside estate near Macclesfield. Harness sphereing means you're strapped in, so you roll on every axis in the inflatable ball and as you roll at speeds of up to 30mph, whilst aqua sphereing has the added dimension of 30 to 50 litres of water sloshing around with you.
You'll be rolling on a purpose built track at this country farm estate that is also a very popular venue for events as there is a brewery on site too, as well as plenty of space for caravans and camping, so if you fancy a short break around your sphereing activity in Cheshire this is a great choice.
You will be taking one roll that will last around 30 seconds. Please allow one hour on site. The sphereing team will sign you in, give you a safety briefing and get you ready for loading into the sphere. For harness sphereing you are strapped in with a full body harness and for aqua sphereing you are unattached in the ball with water added. There will be other people booked in for the same as you on the day and you take turns to roll.

Your activity will take place at a country farm estate in Rushton Spencer village near Macclesfield, Cheshire. Easy access from the M6.
As sphereing is a physically demanding sport, anyone with history of back, neck or broken bone injuries, suffering from migraines, a heart condition, has had an operation in the mast 12 months, or is under medical treatment, or is pregnant will not be able to sphere. You must be at least 12 for harness and seven for aquasphereing and parental consent for under 18s will be needed. Dress for the activity, so bring swimmers or a change of clothes for aqua as you will get wet. Anyone considered to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs will not be allowed to take part and the sphereing team in Cheshire will make that final decision.
The site is very idyllic, making it perfect for families and friends to come and watch the action. There is free car parking, refreshments available and storage for personal belongings. There are also toilets on site. The venue also offers camping and caravan spaces and the venue often hosts weddings and other events in the main house.
