What Can I Expect

It’s quite possible that you have never thought about going axe throwing. But believe us (and we’ve done it!) it’s really good fun - and no, you don’t need to be built like a Canadian lumberjack to be good at it.

Throwing an axe to land square and true into a target is all about technique. There are different types of axes with different weights, but it really isn’t about brute strength. The instructors will show you just what to do to get you throwing safely.

Once you’ve mastered that technique, you’ll be able to take part in axe challenges and games. You’ll go head to head to see who is the best at getting those axes to stick and not fall unceremoniously to the ground with a thud…

All in all, you will spend around an hour on site, which includes your safety briefing and plenty of time to hone your throwing skills and enjoy some games too.
