Deanland Airfield

Deanland Airfield (ICAO code EGKL) between Hailsham and Uckfield, aims to be East Sussex’s premier light aviation airfield, with a warm and friendly welcome. Originally RAF Deanland, the airfield played an important role in the WW2 D-Day Landings. Developed in the 1960s as a private aerodrome by a local farmer, Deanland Airfield has been in the same family-owned and run hands since 1991.
