What Can I Expect
Go for the big jump when you go skydiving in Scotland! This Scottish skydive centre is located in the stunning 'Kingdom of Fife', a couple of miles East of Loch Leven and just 40 minutes from Edinburgh and an hour from Glasgow.
We are offering vouchers for big thrill tandem skydives operating out of Fife Airport. To be able to do a skydive, you’ll go through a short training process, with the jumps being taken in the afternoon of the same day, as long as the weather is playing ball.
Attached by a dual harness with your instructor, up to five skydiving duos will head up into the Perthshire skies in one of the two aeroplanes used by this skydiving school from Fife.
After flying for around 20 to 30 minutes, you will have reached an altitude of around 10,000ft over the drop zone. You’ll take it in turns to shuffle over to the open door of the plane and when you’ve been given the green light from the jumpmaster, it’s your moment to go!
What follows is about 30 seconds of pure freefall, as your tandem team reach speeds of up to 120 mph, with the Scottish coast and countryside swirling below you, before the canopy is opened and you float back down to the drop zone.
Of course, having learned all about how the harness works, main and reserve canopies and the all-important landing technique, you will be perfectly equipped to handle all that adrenaline and adventure that hits you head when you go skydiving!
Fife, Scotland’s favourite skydiving centre, is British Skydiving affiliated and all the instructors and trainers are enthusiastic, patient and encouraging, to ensure your ‘cherry blast’ (that’s skydiver slang for first skydive) is totally safe and 110% fun!
