What Can I Expect

Visit two wonderful Christmas markets on a fully-guided day trip from London! Get the festive feels at Winchester and Salisbury Christmas markets with these excursions by executive coach from the capital.

Mmm…mulled wine, glorious decorations and hot chocolate. Everyone loves a Christmas market. The ambiance is a true winter wonderland, all within gorgeous, historical settings. And as well as strolling around the markets, there is time to tour some local landmarks too.

Setting off from London, you will arrive mid-morning in Salisbury and, as your journey into the centre, your onboard tour guide will point out all the landmarks to you. These Christmas market packages include entry to Salisbury Cathedral and to the Chapter House to see the Magna Carta.

After a wander around the Christmas market, you’ll leave Salisbury to go to Winchester. Your drop off point is just in front of the glorious cathedral, right in front of the wooden cabins that make up the Christmas market.

As evening takes hold, it’s time to board the coach for your return journey to London. What makes this excursion extra special is the fact that you’ll see the sparkle of the Christmas decorations that light up the capital on your way back!

We offer 3 pick-up points located in central & west London, all of which are easy to reach by public transport. You can choose to meet us at whichever pick-up point is most convenient for you.

08:30 - 08:45 - Depart London

After our London pick-ups, we make the journey to Salisbury Cathedral and to the Christmas Market in Guildhall Square. Your tour guide will entertain you with historical highlights during the journey.

10:30 - Arrive at Salisbury

When we arrive in Salisbury and walk to the Cathedral where we have entrance included. This is a beautiful old cathedral which famously holds the Magna Carta of 1215 in the Chapter House. Get into the Christmas spirit here and before wandering along to the Guildhall Square to browse the Christmas Markets there. Grab some lunch here before heading off to Winchester.

1:30 – Depart Salisbury

2:30pm – Arrive in Winchester

We arrive at the Statue of King Alfred the Great in the heart of Winchester and here the Christmas Markets are directly in front of drop off point. Explore the stalls in the Cathedral Grounds, visit this beautiful old Cathedral or the medieval Great Hall.

5:00pm – Depart Winchester

As the Christmas lights twinkle in the winter’s evening we will all meet back at the King Alfred the Great Statue for our journey back to London.

7:00pm – London drops-offs

After a lovely day getting into the Christmas Spirit, full of sightseeing and shopping, we return to London.
