What Can I Expect

You’ll both be able to take part and participate in the rigging and inflation of the balloon, as well as the packing away if getting hands-on takes your fancy. If not, simply stand back and revel in the day a balloon took off just for you!

Of course, hot air balloons go where the wind takes them, so we can’t tell you exactly where you’ll go on your ride, but you are sure to be treated to spectacular views on your private experience.

When Is It Available

• Weekdays and weekends throughout the year
• During summer months weekday rides are generally scheduled for evenings and with morning and evening flights available on weekends
• Winter flying can be more restricted due to unsettled weather conditions
• Meet just after sunrise (can be pretty early mid summer!) or a few hours before sunset. Timings change as the length of the day changes

Suitable For

• Minimum age 6
• Under 15 must be accompanied by a participating adult
• Minimum height 4ft
• Please advise if any passengers are over 17st (108kg)
• Participants must have a good level of fitness and be agile enough to get in and out of the basket

Spectators

• Spectators are welcome to watch your departure with great photo opportunities

Anything Else

• Suitable outdoor clothing and sturdy footwear should be worn
