What Can I Expect
Go microlighting at Goodwood! Shop vouchers for a 30 or 60-minute flight in a modern, closed-cockpit microlight aircraft at this historic aerodrome near Chichester boasting excellent West Sussex views as you fly.
Goodwood Aerodrome is renowned for its rich history in both aviation and automobiles. It’s also unique, in that the world-famous Goodwood Circuit forms the perimeter of the runways. It’s a fascinating place to visit and even more exciting to fly from Goodwood.
You will be getting airborne in an Ikarus C42. Classed as microlights, these lightweight sport aircraft are easy and enjoyable to fly. Budding pilots appreciate the plane’s responsiveness, stability and forgiveness, whilst flying schools love the fuel efficiency!
It’s worth noting that the seating configuration in the Ikarus is side by side, so you will be able to easily observe what your instructor pilot is doing and vice versa when it’s your turn to take the controls and actually fly the aircraft.
As well as learning how to fly one of these machines, it’s very cool to be doing so from Goodwood. There will be an awful lot to see from the air - from vintage aircraft and cars, to the West Sussex coastal views and rolling countryside too.
Buy these microlighting vouchers for Goodwood - you know you’re onto a winner for anyone who loves planes and cars!
