What Can I Expect

A Lift 109 experience plus a Thames Rockets ride equals a very fun day out in London! These vouchers for two will see you heading up the Battersea Power Station chimney lift and enjoying a high-speed boat ride on the River Thames too.

The world's leading architects have transformed the derelict Victorian Battersea Power Station into a vibrant and lively new area of London. There are hundreds of flats and offices, a new underground station, ferry links, open spaces and more.

In the very heart of the former power station, there's a stunning shopping and leisure centre. And the first floor of Turbine Hall A is also where you'll find the entrance to Lift 109. It's a multi-sensory experience that culminates in you being right at the top of one of those famous white chimneys - at 109m above the Thames.

Having read about the history of the power station and immersed yourself in the light and sound magic of the Infinity Room, you'll climb the 39 steps to the first lift. You'll then be shown to the incredible glass elevator, which will take you all the way to the top of the chimney.

The moment you glide into the daylight is amazing. Your glass-panelled lift becomes the viewing platform and you can see all over London and beyond on a clear day. It's also fascinating to see the whole Battersea Power Station development from the air too.

Make sure you take a look down at the River Thames, because this is where you'll be for part two of your Lift 109 and Thames Rocket package. Your speedboat ride departs from the London Eye Pier and speeds off towards Canary Wharf, to give you a thrilling powerboat ride with all the sights thrown in too. Thames Rockets

• Available daily between 10:00 and 20:00 April-October and Thursdays to Sundays between November to March 10:00 - dusk

Suitable For

Lift 109

• Under 18s must be accompanied by a participating adult

Thames Rockets

• There are no age or weight restrictions
• Under 14's must be accompanied by an adult
• Participants will need to be able to climb onboard and sit on an individual seat for the duration of the trip
• All boats can experience unpredictable movements that can aggravate existing medical conditions
• The experiences are unsuitable for expectant mothers at any stage of pregnancy
