What Can I Expect
Go gourmet with our exclusive wine and cheese balloon flights over Kent! A very tasty blend of adventure and foodie luxury is the order of the day for these exclusive ballooning experiences.
The rich and fertile lands, the rolling countryside and picturesque Downs are what make Kent the Garden of England. On your very special flight, you will be floating over the Kentish countryside to admire it all from your serene spot in the balloon.
Of course, there will be an experienced balloon pilot onboard, but you will be the only two passengers in the basket, making these flights impossibly romantic and exciting too.
As with all balloon operators, this Kent-based company offers early morning and evening departures, so you really will see Kent at its very best as the sun rises or sets. The main base is a farm airstrip just south of Ashford.
After your flight you’ll enjoy tucking into a selection of wines and cheeses all produced locally. It’s a great way to celebrate, making these experiences perfect for the epicurean couple in your life!
What’s more, the balloon company offers (on request) return transfers from Ashford International train station, or a local hotel, so you can really enjoy sipping those Kent wines without having to drive afterwards!

When Is It Available
- Weekdays and weekends throughout the year
- During summer months weekday rides are generally scheduled for evenings with morning and evening flights available on weekends
- Winter flying can be more restricted due to unsettled weather conditions
- Meet just after sunrise (can be pretty early mid summer!)or a few hours before sunset. Timings change as the length of the day changes

- The primary launch site is Hamilton Farm Airstrip (TN25 7JJ)
- Conveniently located just 10 minutes from Ashford International Station
- The exact launch site may vary depending on conditions
- Alternative nearby sites may be used to accommodate wind directions
Suitable For
- Minimum age 6
- Under 15 must be accompanied by a participating adult
- Minimum height 4ft
- Please advise if any passengers are over 17st (108kg)
- Participants must have a good level of fitness and be agile enough to get in and out of the basket
Spectators
- Spectators are welcome to watch your departure with great photo opportunities
Anything Else
- Suitable outdoor clothing and sturdy footwear should be worn
- If your flight needs to be rescheduled bookings are non-refundable and can be rescheduled only
