What Can I Expect

Exclusive Isle of Wight flights! Private helicopter charters for up to three people to go on a very special sightseeing flight to see England’s largest island from the air.

Departing from Isle of Wight (Sandown) Airport, you will be flying in a Robinson R44 helicopter. And as the flight is exclusive, it’s all about what you want to do and where you want to go!

Over the 30-minute aerial adventure, you will be able to cover around 55 miles, which means you’ll be able to see all the best bits of the Isle of the Wight, with landmark buildings, natural wonders, beaches and country houses too.

Setting off from Sandown on the east of the island, see if you can spot Robin Hill, the nature park right near the airport or perhaps the locos at the steam railway. Head south and you’ll see St Catherine’s Lookout, the lighthouse on the southernmost tip of the Isle of Wight, overlooking the English Channel.

Flying in a westerly direction you will soon come across the Needles, quite possibly the most famous sightseeing spot on the whole of the Isle of Wight. Soaring over those chalk stacks, looking down on the chairlift and the beach as you go, is a truly special moment.

Continuing your exclusive helicopter journey, you might well get to see Yarmouth Castle, the Tudor fortress, on the way to zoom over Osborne House, Queen Victoria’s beloved Italianate residence near East Cowes. Of course you will also see the main towns on the island too, such as Shanklin and Sandown, Cowes and East Cowes.

Remember, these are exclusive Isle of Wight flights, so it’s just you and your pilot onboard for the most amazing 55-mile sightseeing trip from Sandown Airport.
