What Can I Expect

Welcome to the Boeing 737 Future Flyer programme! Specifically devised for 12 to 21 year olds with an interest in aviation, these packs give young flyers 5 x 90-minute shared simulator sessions at this renowned centre located at Luton Airport.

The simulator is a state-of-the-art, fixed-base Boeing 737-800, with 220-degree wraparound graphics and 4K projector. Keen teens will totally feel like they are in an actual cockpit undertaking actual pilot training!

You’ll be paired up with another Future Flyer and each session follows the typical flight training programme a commercial pilot would follow, with the first session covering the basics of flying a 737, including climbing, descending and turns.

From then on, it’s everything from ILS and visual approaches, to flying a full sector with full flight deck procedures and even take off and landings at the world’s most challenging airports!

What we love about these multi-lesson sessions is that youngsters can book in to do the five over two or three days, or across a whole week. Courses run during the main school holidays (including summer and half-terms) and after school, so ideal for future airline pilots still at school or college!

The team running these Future Flyer Programmes is super patient, approachable and friendly, so your little aviator is sure to increase in confidence to become quite a proficient captain over the course of the five sim sessions.

When Is It Available

• Courses usually take place during school holidays

• Alternative sessions may be possible by prior arrangement (eg after school during term-time or over 5 days)
