What Can I Expect

Sign up for a beginners photography course in Coventry and learn how to make the most of your digital camera on these informative and fun courses run by a professional photographer and tutor.

The course runs as evening classes, once a week over three consecutive weeks. All you’ll need is your digital camera and the manual, as well as a USB stick.

Class sizes are kept to just four pupils per class, to ensure teaching is of the highest standard, with plenty of opportunities for you to ask your individual questions too.

Your host is Alan, who is a highly experienced and passionate professional photographer. Past pupils praise Alan for being such a good communicator and teacher, inspiring them to use more of camera functions and be more creative when taking photos.

The aim of this course is for beginners to master camera settings, as well as understanding more about things like light and exposure. And as well as looking at the theory, you’ll be able to put it into practice, with lots of teaching on framing and composition as you shoot too.

By the end of this three-session photography course for beginners with Alan in Coventry, you’ll know all about using your F stop and ISO settings, as well as having the confidence to ditch your camera’s automatic settings to improve the quality and impact of the photos you take!
