What Can I Expect

Adopt a beehive and get an invite to meet your bees too! The perfect gift for anyone who's fascinated by bees or interested in beekeeping, but can't commit to having your own hives. It's particularly suitable for grandparents and grandchildren, with adult and child bee adoption packs available. 

The busy bees you'll be helping with these adoption packs live in hives in Wisley in Surrey and Liphook in Hampshire. Their human helpers run beekeeping training courses, events and experience days, helping other bee fans on the road to keeping happy, productive bees.

To thank you for your support, the bees have been busily preparing some goodies for you, which will all be sent out to you in a very bright and cute bee tote bag. You'll love the deliciously sweet honey and the cool little wooden twizzler stick that you use to wind that runny nectar around. Then there's the seed bomb for you to scatter in your garden, in a window box or any open green space. The special formula means bees will be attracted to the flowers and plants that you grow and that makes the bees very happy!

The kids adoption packs also include a funky bee-themed cool bag, a badge, arts and crafty things to do and loads of bee information alongside the one year adoption certificate. Grown ups will love the additions of the Bee beeswax lip balm or hand cream, the bee key ring and the delightful bee-themed china mug.

You will also receive an invitation in the spring to attend one of the Meet the Bees open days held in the summer at Wisley and Liphook. This will give you the chance to get up close to and get hands on with those buzzing bees you've been supporting all year.

Availability

• Adoption packs will be sent by post and will arrive 3-5 working days once you have redeemed your voucher

Meet the Bees:

• Sessions take place in July (Wisley location) or August (Liphook location)
• Times are available between 9.45am to 3pm
• Once you have redeemed your voucher you will be sent an invitation to book your meet the bees session
