What Can I Expect
An AFF level skydiving course in Lincolnshire - the quickest way to becoming a skydiver! We are offering vouchers for the Level 1 Accelerated Freefall Courses held at Hibaldstow Airfield, which are run over two days, with a skydive from 15,000ft included.
And the massive difference between accelerated freefall and tandem skydives? On your AFF course you take the leap accompanied by, but not attached to your instructors, so you are experiencing freefall by yourself! Incredible stuff.
Over the two days, this highly-experienced Lincolnshire team of instructors will teach you everything you need to know to be able to jump out of that plane unattached. It’s intense and in-depth, but it is a truly amazing experience for anyone who is up for a proper challenge.
All tutors leading the ground school training are British Skydiving qualified AFF instructors. There will be a mix of theory and practical, with the syllabus covering anything from how to recognise the airfield drop zone from the air, to how to monitor your altitude.
And yes, you will be learning when and how to deploy your parachute, as well as how to land with it!
Ground training done, you’ll head up into the skies above Hibaldstow in the school’s aeroplane. Having learned how to enter and exit the plane, you’ll be feeling nervous but ready to jump.
Once given the nod, it’s time to go for it. Exiting the aircraft is your moment. Your two instructors will be right alongside you at all times, but this is you experiencing freefall unattached. Woohooo!
If you’re a daredevil, our two-day AFF skydive courses at Lincolnshire’s Hibaldstow Aerodrome are definitely for you.
