In just half a day at circus school you'll be learning skills such as juggling, acrobatic balancing, static trapeze and the ultimate thrill of flying trapeze all at the UK's premier circus training school, based in London.
This unusual and fun half day experience starts with registration and briefing where you will meet your team of professional instructors (no clowns here)! After a gentle warm up, you will form part of a small group and try your hand at a variety of different circus skills.
Sessions include:
Acrobatic Balancing - working in a group to build amazing structures such as the human pyramid. Guaranteed to produce the biggest giggles of the day.
Juggling - learn all the skills you need from professional performers on how to three ball juggle.
Flying Trapeze - the ultimate high adrenalin activity. Your chance to put into practice what you have learned and 'fly through the air with the greatest of ease'!
Tight Wire Walking - it's all about balance, focus and concentration if you want to make it from one end of this (very) thin wire to the other!

This experience lasts around three and a quarter hours, usually enough time to try four different skills. There will be a maximum of 32 people on each course, divided up into smaller groups rotating around each of the activities. All activities are overseen and led by highly trained teachers in the specially converted 'Generating Chamber' of the former power station that the centre occupies. Circus activities do involve an element of risk, but all practicable measures are taken to ensure maximum safety for all.

Courses run on Saturday afternoons from 2:30pm - 5:30pm on selected dates. The next scheduled dates include: 3rd March 2012, 10th March 2012, 17th March 2012, 24th March 2012, 31st March 2012, 28th April 2012, 5th May 2012, 12th May 2012, 19th May 2012, 26th May 2012, 2nd June 2012, 30th June 2012, 7th Jule 2012 and 14th July 2012, subject to availability.
