This Gloucestershire rally driving school gives the every day driver the chance to turn their hand to rally driving techniques such as controlled power slides and handbrake turns, all in the controlled environment of an authentic rally venue not far from Chippenham in Gloucestershire. The cars used are competition prepared Peugeot 106 Rallyes with all the features of a class winning rally car so you'll be able to throw them around and perform manoeuvres normally considered impossible. Please check our main Rally driving page for a wide choice of rally drive experiences at nationwide UK venues.

The school is operated under the guidance of Andy Gwynne who is the 2003 National Super1600 Rally Champion. All instructors hold competition licences and have experience of either National or International Rallying which proves invaluable when teaching you how to control the car whilst travelling sideways on gravel!

All events begin with a welcome meeting, sign on and drivers briefing, guests will then proceed to a series of practice sessions.  As confidence builds with each practice lap the speed is increased and more techniques are introduced into the driving.  The second part of the experience consists of timed sessions where each driver will complete a series of laps against the clock.  Another great feature of these events is the introduction of simple rallying pace notes.  You will really feel the part as you speed along the course with your instructor shouting in the cabin just like the professionals on the TV.  By the end of the session you can expect to make perfect sense of  ER<150! The finale of the event is a high speed passenger ride where your instructor will show you how it's really done.

All recorded stage times are then added together and the winner of the event will be declared.  All guests will receive a personalised certificate as a memento of the day.

Sessions last approximately three hours and provide two practice sessions and one timed session.  Practice sessions are usually five laps and timed sessions two laps.  The instruction is 1:1 with up to five drivers taking turns to drive each practice and timed session.  The rally stage is 1.5 miles long.
Sessions run all year round on selected Saturdays and occasional weekday dates and are usually available with various start times.
Experiences take place on a purpose made gravel track in Cirencester on the Gloucestershire and Wiltshire border. Note: Kids rally driving adventures are also available in this area.
Drivers must hold a full driving licence.  Minimum height is 5', maximum height is 6'5".  Maximum weight is 20 stone.  You are required to sign a declaration of indemnity.
This Gloucestershire venue welcomes spectators however, numbers are limited to three per driver and no children under the age of eight are permitted.  Spectators under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a responsible spectating adult. An edited DVD of participants in car action is available to purchase on the day for £35.
