A training course aimed at those new to four wheel drive vehicles. The man made hill simulates all terrains and hazards, without leaving the activity centre. The route is a real challenge, including nerve wracking descents and the exciting watersplash, designed to test the vehicles - and your skills! - to the very limit.
Using a Land Rover Discovery, your BORDA approved instructor will demonstrate every procedure before you take the wheel yourself. This course is not designed for experienced "green laners" but will give novice drivers the skills and confidence to discover a whole new world for themselves.
Experience summary: The half day experience is run on a maximum of three students to one instructor ratio. The whole experience lasts around three hours and you can expect around 45min to an hour of driving time. For the rest of the time you'll be a passenger in the vehicle.
Availability: All year round on selected Saturdays and Sundays.
Requirements: Driving licence is required. Minimum age 17.
Spectators/facilities: Welcome - there are excellent on site facilities.
