Cowboy Adventure for Kids Hampshire

Take a kids cowboy adventure and join Boston, Mihiara and their friends at this Wild West ranch located on the edge of the New Forest. After spending some time getting to know the ponies and equipment you will leap up onto your trusty steed and prepare for your first riding lesson.
You will spend an hour riding in a special training arena practicing the basics that every good cowboy or cowgirl has to learn. You will find your new four legged friends are good-natured, easy to ride and used to showing new riders how things are done Western style. The fun continues on two legs as you then get the chance to try your hand at horseshoe throwing and lassoing some bullhorns with an authentic cowboy rope - a great skill to show the folks back home.
All the riding and fresh air can make a ranch hand hungry so luckily you are provided with a Western Style barbecue which is much better than the hay and water the ponies get!
Perfect for kids who have never even been on a horse before, this experience will be mostly at walking pace until all riders can control their horses at a jog.
Cowboy and Riding Experiences are also available for adults as well as a variety of
alternative experience days.

Allow spending two hours on site, you will spend approximately one and a half hours with the ponies including a one hour riding lesson. Tea, coffee, soft drinks and a BBQ lunch are provided for riders (vegetarian options are available). All equipment is provided including safety hats and stetsons. There are a variety of ponies on site available to suit all ages. There may be up to six trainee cowboys taking part on the day. A cowkid Certificate is provided at the end of the experience. Don't forget to see our main activities for kids area for more great ideas on
