What Can I Expect

Operating all year round, these iconic bright red speedboats are well-known on the Thames. You'll see parts of the capital you don't normally see. Setting off from the pier at the London Eye means you're in the thick of the big-hitter London landmarks from the word go.

It's all quite an experience onboard, as there'll be a guide riding on the speedboat with you who'll be hosting your exclusive trip on the Thames. They're upbeat and outgoing, well-known for their banter and sense of humour, so you and your party can expect to be entertained throughout the 50-minute return journey.

Of course, safety is paramount. All skippers are fully qualified and you might find they're also RYA instructors or even ex-Wapping River Police, so highly experienced too!

Being a private tour, the RIB boat, the skipper and the guide are all yours for the duration. There's also a rather fancy onboard sound system, so you can pick the tunes to accompany your exclusive Thames adventure. How about singing along to ‘Cry Me a River' or crooning to ‘Bridge Over Troubled Water'?

Availability

• Operating 7 days a week
• Experiences usually run between 10.00am till dusk
• All bookings are subject to availability and guests should book at least two weeks in advance, especially in peak season
• Experiences do not run on 24th and 25th December

Suitable For

• There are no age or weight restrictions
• Under 14's must be accompanied by an adult
• Participants will need to be able to climb onboard and sit on an individual seat for the duration of the trip 
• All boats can experience unpredictable movements that can aggravate existing medical conditions
• The experiences are unsuitable for expectant mothers at any stage of pregnancy

Spectators

• Spectators are welcome to watch the speedboat depart/arrive

Anything Else

• The Speedboat Experiences can accommodate people with some disabilities The boat has been approved by the SCOPE and there are specially designed stability rails on board 
• You are advised to wear sensible clothing bearing in mind it is usually cooler out on the river. Flat soled shoes are recommended
