What Can I Expect
Discover the dramatic Devon Jurassic Coast on a helicopter tour! We are offering vouchers for 20 and 30-minute Jurassic sightseeing flights, with departures from the Honiton area in an executive helicopter.
Stretching from Orcombe in East Devon, to Old Harry Rocks in East Dorset, the Jurassic coast covers 95 miles, so seeing the east Devon parts of it by helicopter is much easier than walking the route!
If you opt for the 20 minute trip, you'll head south from Honiton towards the coast, following the winding River Sid until it meets the sea at Sidmouth, adjacent to the Lifeboat Station. You’ll then fly over the famous red cliffs along the coastal path, turning back inland to return to base.
Those on the 30 minute tour will see all those Jurassic coast wonders, as well as some of the most picturesque parts of east Devon too. Following the coastline from Sidmouth to Seaton, you will have an amazing seagull’s eye view of the unspoilt cliffs, with the beaches and coves below.
See if you can spot the Frog Stone perched on the clifftop and keep a look out for the remains of the Berry Camp Fort. As you continue along the Jurassic coast, you’ll swoop over Hooken Cliffs near the headland, before flying over Beer Beach towards Seaton Bay, to then head back inland to base.
Flying as low as 1000 ft on these Jurassic Coast helicopter tours means you’ll get a really good look at the amazing Devon coast and all those wonderfully wild, historic beaches and landmarks. One little piece of advice - don't forget your camera to capture those wonderful aerial vistas!
