Immersive experiences are big

Immersive experiences – what are they?

Immersive experiences are really popular right now in the UK, but what exactly is an immersive experience and what sort of immersive activities can you do? We’ve fully-immersed ourselves in it all to find out more!

What is an immersive experience?

Transport yourself into a different world, another time, another place. Be yourself or someone else. Immersive experiences are exciting, interactive, engaging and, above all, fun.

What sort of immersive experiences do you offer?

We offer an eclectic collection of hands-on, full-immersion activities and experiences. We have vouchers for everything from VR gaming and VR motion Spitfire simulators, to murder mystery evenings, escape rooms and ‘I’m A Celebrity-themed adventures!

Escape games are great interactive fun for all ages

What about VR?

Virtual Reality using VR headsets is our fastest-growing type of immersive experience. You are totally plunged into your virtual world and you can literally walk around, pick things up and so on. This hyper-reality makes for some visually amazing experiences.

So do all immersive experiences use VR?

No, not at all. You can physically visit a different place too. It might be a film-style set for a thrilling zombie battle. Or you could be invited to a fancy country house hotel with guests in 1930s costumes, where murder on the menu!

What’s the difference between immersive and interactive?

Well, technically, interactive means you are interacting with other people, whilst on an immersive experience you can plunge solo into that virtual universe. But in reality, there’s not much difference these days, especially with the latest, high-tech multiplayer VR gaming arenas, which are 100% immersive AND interactive!

Which are the best immersive experiences?

Our most popular immersive activities by far are the ones using VR. For groups of mates, sessions at the vr gaming arenas are our best-sellers. Solo and duos love the VR motion car and plane simulators best. And families enjoy the adventure games most, with escape games coming out top.

Are there any immersive experiences near me?
