What do we all do in that lull between Christmas and New Year?

So that's Christmas done for another year - you roasted the turkey, you watched that very sugary sweet last ever, ever episode of Downton Abbey, the traditional Boxing Day footy matches have been played and you've spent your Christmas money in the sales that are everywhere (including our very own IntotheBlue 15% off everything sale!). And as usual, after eating your own bodyweight in chocolate over the festive period, thoughts, as you're slouched on the sofa again in that in-between-Christmas-and-New-Year-lull way, turn to… …diets? overdrafts? going back to work? Nooooo….it's all about HOLIDAYS! Start thinking about filling in and handing...

Meet those Neighbours when you stay on Ramsay Street for the night!

Flaming Galahs - they've only gone and put Ramsay Street on Air BnB! That famous cul-de-sac in Melbourne's fictional suburb of Erinsborough is being transformed into a very special hotel for one lucky couple, so if you're a Neighbours fan, this has got to be one of the best overnight stays you could ever wish for! Enter the starting gates – it’s time for Royal Ascot 2015

A flurry of bets, flutes of Champagne for all and a menagerie of over the top head gear - that's horse racing at Royal Ascot! The 2015 meet got underway yesterday (Tuesday) and as usual, it was the inevitable mix of Royalty, tradition, teeny weeny jockeys and some fine thoroughbreds both on and off the track. What immediately caught our eye was the mini media frenzy about Princess Zara. Categorically denied, apparently Miss Philips...

Bring on the 2015 festival season!

Finally we are starting to see some proper summer weather in the UK and with it comes the start of festival season. Kicking off with the Radio 1 Big Weekend that took place in Norwich over the May Bank Holiday weekend, it's now full steam ahead for a succession of live music, DJs, art and performance to take you right through to autumn. So, having lived through those student festival-going years, we thought we'd have a little look at the best (but not necessarily the biggest) gatherings to be seen at this year. We might as well start with the...

Forget 1D it’s all about ‘musical theatre boy bands’ now thanks to BGT 2014!

Since when have 'musical theatre boy bands' been cool? Well, many might say never, but last night we watched as Collabro were crowned winners of the 2014 Britain's Got Talent TV show. And if you didn't see it, here they are doing their post-victory encore. We still can't tell if Simon Cowell was pleased with the result or not (he had his poker face on just before the results were announced by the perennially cheerful Ant'n'Dec), but given that he's made a packet out of Susan Boyle (who incidentally actually came second to..whoever it was…we forget) and a few pence...
